Dr. Svetlana Cvetkovic

Svetlana taught K-3 for 10 years and earned a Masters in Literacy Leadership at San Diego State University. She was a K-8 Reading Specialist for five years in California and Maryland.
After completing her PhD at Claremont Graduate University in 2022, her research focuses on dyslexia, Rapid Automatized Naming (RAN), spelling, and reading fluency. She hopes to improve literacy instruction so that students become skilled readers and spellers starting in Kindergarten.
In addition to working as a researcher-practitioner with teachers and parents, Svetlana provides private intervention using EBLI’s structured linguistic program for clients of all ages with diverse learning differences, including dyslexia.
